Just checked on mine with FP today. 8/24 build date following a few weeks with an 8/23 build week assigned. Getting excited, except for the fact that I just moved to VA a few days ago and found out how they do their sales tax...

Where you located? Just curious, it would be cool to get a gen3 group together with guys minimal hours away in a centralized spot. Course idc about driving, I plan on doing raptor assault next year, and I just got done with a Cali trip of 5500 miles in the gen1 so I love driving.

I'm in Central NJ about 10 min from the ocean. I'm totally down to drive to a meetup wherever, going to need to break it in anyways lol. Doing the Raptor Assault just not sure when that's going to happen.

I bought a car from other state years ago. I think the dealer actually calculate the tax and register the vehicle to the state you are living in(based on your drive license). In your case, should be registered in VA and paid by VA tax rate. Double check with your salesman.

It hurts already... I actually grew up here as a kid and was excited to get stationed back here as an adult. That's slowly fading haha.

I guess I'll pay the 3k in sales tax when I get the truck, and then I guess Fairfax County another 3 ish grand in the spring for the property taxes? I'm gonna have to do another pump to the Middle East just to afford this truck haha

Ouch sir I'm in Indiana but something could be arranged I love going east, and west. Not so much south .

We’re in the same area. That sounds right, brother. I think local tax is 4.5% per $100. So if your truck is $70K it should be around 3k. I don’t pay attention any more.

Yep, it's a bit of a haul but I'm down for it. I'll keep an eye out for the thread. Do you know the date for when you will be going to Raptor Assault?

oh wow i didnt know you were in indy! see this idea is gonna be cool! and I saw they had one but havent joined! Will look into it by the time I get my raptor again and I'm not in the RAPTORLESS group anymore hopefully soon.
