I have silver...and must admit I like the two tone on a light color truck...I do think black flares on silver would look good with black wheels as well...

I am just basing this on how good I think the black wrap looks on the truck...

I would like to see the flares and bumpers in either black line-x or painted flat black on a silver. I wanted to do black wheels but I wont do it with the flares being gray. I love the 2 tone contrast though.

Thats exactly what I have. I have method standard wheels “black“. Changing everything from the gray to the flat black made a HUGE difference!

How is everyone going about this? I'm trying to do mine soon too. All the shops I've spoken to want about a grand to color match the fender flares and bumpers in Tuxedo Black. Has anyone done it themselves, I do have access to a paint shop, but very little personal experience.

How is the Plastidip holding up Dave? You go through that place in coral springs?

Might try to bring the truck right to the shop and let them put it on for one of their demo videos lol

Don't waste your money paying someone to do it. It is hands down the easiest stuff to work with! Just a little masking off, then spray away, I did 5-8 light coats 30-45 minutes apart. Overspray isn't a issue, when your done it just wipes right off. I did both bumpers, 4 fenders, and the grill for like $45! I was considering the linex way but was also quoted around a grand, I thought to myself “$45 vs $1000?? I can do alot of other stuff with that $900+ difference!“

Fyi so for the plasti dip is holding up great. Plus I tried doing a small repair on my rear bumper where I scratched the dip. It blends perfectly with no issues.

I think $1000 is gonna be the average price. I got quoted $1k for bumpers, flares, flares and door handles to be color matched. I thought about it but i do really like the gray. I am thinking about color matched door handles tho
