If it was me…..and it wasn't too bad cosmetic damage…I'd buy it and put a wrap on it…then I'd take it to Raptoberfest and run that sucker hard…!!

But…that's just me….you gotta go with your gut….

The hail damage should lower the value of the truck for resale unless they give it a branded title, which it sounds like they are doing. For the roof you can look into the paintless dent removal, if you find a guy who knows what he is doing it can look great and it's fairly inexpensive.

You're getting a new raptor with a few moderate dents for $35k? Get it down to $30k, jump on it, and spend the $5k on aftermarket glass. You'll be getting your money's worth for sure.

make sure they are not salvaging the title as this will affect resale ALOT! also it voids the warranty on it as well. If they do not salvage the title and its just sheetmetal dents I would jump on the deal.

If they salvage it.. I would walk away. Salvaged titles are like the red-headed-stepchild.

Didn't know the salvage title was possible from hail damage...great tip I'll check with him on it later today.

How is the hood and front fenders since they are fiberglass?

They are pretty hammered and will need complete replacements, along with one extra piece he didn't mention, a piece someone stated as pretty pricey, the drivers mirror.

He should be sending me pics this afternoon on it.
