Have had these Gieser Bros coils on bottom perch for probably about 5-6 months now and around 10,000 miles. Very pleased with the better on road comfort compared to stock coils on mid perch. They haven't really settled much at all...like others said...maybe 1/2" if that-and that was really just the settling that occurred within the first few days from install. After that, have noticed zero settling and the same nice ride as day one.

My question is:

Has anyone with these springs been running these Gieser Bros springs on mid perch with 37's AND aftermarket wheels (such as methods)???

I was wanting to do this setup when the new KO2's come out. I know many guys have stock springs mid perch on BFG 37's and barely rub. I was wondering if that little bit more height that these springs give make the difference and prevent any rubbing?

I have these on at mid and the 37 BFG ATs and still rub a bit, i would still recommend hammering down the pinch weld behind the liner too. It's been covered in a couple 37' threads.

Thanks man. So I'm guessing you have method's (or another aftermarket wheels with zero offset)? I have methods on now and love them and would love to keep them on, but I also have the stock ford beadlocks and have heard good things about people running 37's with stock wheels with success. Is the rubbing on yours annoying to the point that you would change anything? Would you go with stock beadlocks if you could go back or would you stick with the aftermarket wheels?

Also, how's your truck riding with these springs on Mid perch? Are they a lot better than stock spring at mid? I love these springs at bottom perch and don't want to loose that smooth ride...but of course I want to squeeze in some 37's!

Yep, i have methods with the zero offset. I love the ride at mid, and the rubbing is really on when i brake and turn, it will rub a bit on the liner. otherwise most driving i don't rub. When off-roading you can stuff the front, and thats where the real trimming is needed.

If i had the stock beadlocks, I would have probably started with my 37s on them and then maybe went to Methods. But i love my methods too.

Thanks @vanilla_gorilla I appreciate the help. Would you say that with these springs at mid perch that you are much higher than stock springs at mid perch? Did you happen to take any measurements to compare?

Has anyone run these Gieser Bros progressive coils at BOTH bottom and mid perch? Any impressions on the difference in ride? From what I've read, the difference does not seem as drastic as the difference of stock springs from bottom to mid. Has anyone done both bottom and mid on these springs?

I didn't do any measurements, i always for get to get the details when i do the work...hahaha. But the front is higher with these springs vs. the stock, both at mid perch. I really like the ride of these on mid, but i've never tried them on stock. But the ride is firm-ish, but more controlled is a better term. It still rides plush, but the pogo/bounce is gone, it just soaks up the bumps in a very controlled manner. I really like the ride feel.

I'll give you my springs if you give me your tires! Haha. Went to get my brothers used 37" Baja's installed today and was informed that when they dismounted them from the wheels previously, they chunked out the lip and the tires are f@cked now. What a waste! I'm bummed out about it. Doesn't cost me money cause I didn't buy them yet, but just sucks that the tires are useless now.

I love these springs though, I think I would say they are my favorite mod that I've done to this truck! I would think Gieser/UTV would be making/selling them again before too long.

Just took a pic of it now. It looks worse in the picture than in real. Seeing the picture, I feel stupid for thinking it might be ok. I actually hadn't looked at these tires for a year or two and forgot what condition they were in.

Anyone think this could be repaired?
