Sounds fishy...how often do you reset the stats?

the difference between driving a 4-banger light truck and the Raptor is a cup of premium coffee a day.

I was starting to get a little bummed out about the gas consumption data until you put it into perspective....F*** the coffee, Ill make it myself and have the baddest Truck in town.

I had my cruise control set at 55 mph. Speed really affects these trucks. That was also on my 91 performance tune.

Yeah, you run over 70 and you lose about 2-3 MPG. My 08 F-150 was the same way. Running 75-80 costs ya.

65 is like 19 mpg, 70 is 17mpg, 72 is 19mpg, and 75 is 14mpg. How do you explain that?

My guess is that Ford only worried about the aerodynamics up to 70 +/-, after that it probably has some dirty air problems that cause drag. And that 70 to 72 thing is a fluke- not in your measurements, but something changes aerodynamically for that air speed & then goes back to crap at 73.
Remember, drag squares as speed increases (I think I said that right) 80 MPH has 4 times as much drag as 40.
Since my 08 was the same, I think its aerodynamics.
What say someone with some schooling in this area?
