He tried to make his Raptor a tricycle.... He was successful, but it didn't quite drive the same.

Haha, yeah, I saw the banter earlier in the thread and actually like his response that he is called tripod for other reasons. Probably not true, but still funny.

I'm just genuinely interested in why he's getting another set. Seems like he is saying that they've held up well to the punishment, just curious why replace them?

...and maybe the group buy would be good for those customers that I've heard of that never recieved their orders and cannot reach them at all to get any answers. Maybe there is strength in numbers...???

Just curious, why are you getting another set of glassworks?

Also, can you speak to the many many reports of people being furious about the customer service (or lack there of)???

There have been issues members in the past experienced. I was not involved with them and cannot speak to them. When I set this up with John I literally told him and can provide screenshots if necessary, but I said Tim had ****** over members here before and I will not do this if they are not going to deliver or handle this properly. John assured me he is handling everything and Tim only approved pricing.

Like I said earlier, my experience with them couldn't have been better. This is why I need new fenders:

If they weren't quality, they would be shattered and spider webbed everywhere after a hit like that. They did crack by the flare, but they have the weight of the truck on them.

Yeah, left front fender got damaged when the left front suspension and wheel tried to eject off the truck.

Ah, I see what the jokes were about then. Sucks to see. Thanks for the feedback @oxfordraptor. I respect that you made sure that the past experiences wouldn't be repeated. Good luck with the group buy!

How do these compare with Fiberwerx? Fiberwerx retail 400
Glassworks retail 600 without vent 550

So does every truck that you've seen with Fiberwerx fenders have this gap there? Seems to me like all fiberglass fenders can have figment issues regardless of brand. I always thought that was the tricky thing with any of the brands...

If you look where the fender meets the hood, you can see it's already low. The part circled would need to be shaved by the headlight to drop it even and close that gap. Problem is that up where I pointed out by the hood, it would be even lower if you did that.

Glass will never perfect. But up front cost on quality saves much more time and headache when installing.

@LekRap I'm talking about the red circle from what I've seen glassworks doesn't have that odd lip
