Has anyone had issues hooking these up? I installed mine today and here is what I did and what is going on. I cut the purple wire to my puddle lamps and hooked the logo lights up without connecting the puddle light back up. The driver side worked fine. When I went to hook up the passanger side the logo light would not come on. I changed the 15A fuse out for a 20A fuse and that did nothing. I disconected the driver side and hooked up the passenger side and it worked. When I went back to the driver side it would not work and the passenger side stopped working. I thought I might have an open circuit so I hooked the puddle lamps back up with the logo light tied in also. The logo lights and puddle lights would not work. After putting everything back together with the logo lights still hooked up I figured I would clean up and try to figue out later what was going on. I went back to my truck and opened the door which set the alarm off and the logo lights worked. When I stopped the alarm the logo lights went out. I did another test and when I hit the panic button the remote the logo and puddle lights work but stop when I turn the alarm off. The other test I did was put my key in the ignition and lock the door. The door stayed locked and I had to use my spare key to unlock the door.

I am at a lose as to what I do now. The one good thing is I can get my door panels off in about 30 seconds. Any help would be great.

UPDATE:

I left the lights hooked up and on Sunday linked up with my friend for help. When I got to his house everything was working fine. I pulled the door panels off to show him my work and he had some connectors that would clean up my splice job. We unhooked the lights and wired everything back up with the puddle lamps still hooked up. It started doing the same thing again where my puddle lamps and cargo light will not come on. The thing that puzzles me is why did they just start working?

The big question that I have is how did anybody run their wires thru the door. I tried this and found out that there is a huge grey plug in the rubber boot that the wire will not pass thru unless you drill a hole in it (not something that I want to do). I wish somebody that has these working would post pictures of their install and a detailed write up.

I mounted mine under the step, so I did not have to run the wires through the door.

I used a relay switched by interior light. The purple wire on the right is factory, and the red on the left is the trigger wire I added for the relay.

The interior lights dim up and down when they turn on and off. This makes the relay buzz for a second while the power fades in or out. Mine have worked flawlessly so far with this configuration.

Thanks for the photos. I am off to Ford to fix my BCM and then I will get a relay and hopefully by then someone on here will have an answer on how to run the wires thru the door.
