Put new light in today without removing the grill. Cut away a small piece of plastic to access one of the nuts.
Biggest fear was losing one of the nuts into the great abyss of the engine bay.
Worked like a charm.
Do u have a photo of the cut?

Yea same - did the other markers but haven’t figured out how to easily access the grill lights
So I finally got around to installing my Morimoto grill lights today. The only way to get it done right is to remove the grill. It's really not hard at all. You have to remove a ton of plastic clips and a total of six bolts (four 10mm on top and two 8mm down low holding the grill in place). You will also need to slightly pop out the headlight garnishes (no need to fully remove) to get to those lower 8mm bolts. Now lift up and out to remove the grill. Once the grill is out you will have to separate the shutter assemble from the grill. This involves removing four 10mm nuts and one 8mm bolt (in center). There are also three weird little push-nuts that need to come off (I just unscrewed them with a 10mm socket). Once you pull off the shutters you will now have access to the six weird push-nuts(2 for each light) holding the individual marker lights. These unscrew off with a 8mm socket. Swap out your lights and reassemble if reverse order. Hope this helps. If not just search for Raptor Grill Removal on YouTube.

hey so i went around to trying to get these installed, and my shop told me the morimotos were way too small. did you have that issue? the morimotors seem sized for gen1 raptors, not gen 2

I can confirm for the Gen 2 that these lights fit perfect and they match the morimoto marker lights.

Thanks! the hole sizing on these seem to be different then the Gen2. I'm trying to get clarification if they made any changes in production.
