I was going to say a military person sould know the hand out flashlights with different color covers. I'd say green is direct meaning you have to be looking at it straight on to see it but that is not scientifically looked up by me I'm guessing.

I remember talking with someone at trr say that the green lights one truck had was more visible through the dust than amber when following someone.
