didnt know about green. i know red does that

Our standard light equipment has green beacons and our evacuation signal is a red flashing beacon. Having had the chance to compare the two the green is visibly brighter to my eyes and gives off a better light than red. I can identify and drive using only the green strobe beacon with headlights off, I cannot with the red can't see well enough. (Do not recommend driving with only a flashing strobe I work underground and there are reasons to turn off your headlights entering an intersection or other areas). All that and still not as blinding as Blue/White. Part of the reason all gun lasers are going to green when possible is it is more visible to the human eye same with "Blood-Tracker" Hats. Sorry for the rambling answer entering hour 46 without sleep. Functions check ok conversation ability....... broken.

Green is dead center of the visible light spectrum and is the wavelength of light that the human eye is most "tuned" to. That's why green fiber optic sights are so popular for shooting and hunting. But you don't see green flashlights for sale.

I was also told green is the best for using in conjuction with night vision so if you're busy driving around dudes with night vision on then it makes sense.

Hmmm... $20 covers, maybe I'll get them for ***** and grins, we'll see. I'd be the guy to screw around with guys wearing night vision and then flip on the uncovered lights, lol.

Customers often use the S2 Pro colored lens during races to help identify themselves from other racers pulling into the pits.
