Looking at a 2013 Raptor. Has lived whole life in Illinois. I really want to remove the graphics on the rear. Don't want faded paint. Yay or nay?

Edit - I did this on my 2019 Gen 2 but that was immediately after reciving it.

What color is it?

Some fade less then others, you may get luck. I have stripped stickers off many vehicles and not many have been reel that bad. The one thing that does stand out is if the trucks seen some nice off road pin stripes down the side. That may be worse then fading since the graphics are a bit of protection.

Silver.. id say you should be gtg if the paint still look like its been taken care of.

If you do dive into removing them, either do it after the suns been on it for a bit or use low heat. Idk if you have access but we use plastic razor blades to lift it and a adhesive remover. Once done a buff (if needed) a wipe down to get residue off and then a wax. GL and take you time itll come out great.

Heat gun (or hairdryer) on low heat, pull the decal the opposite direction you are removing, like you are trying to stretch it. 3M wax and grease remover. Wash. Clay bar, polish then wax.

Done on lots of vehicles over the years. I even remove most of the badging. Wife's Range Rover doesn't have anything on the tailgate except for the license plate.

Yes but we are talking a 9 year old truck. I know how to do it, but I just wonder if a good idea. Is there aftermarket exact decals that if it doesn't look good you can just put it back on? Or is there some
Copyright stuff that would prevent from getting the exact decal and proper overlay.
