Can you elaborate on how an install issue requires more weights to balance?

It’s how the tire is mounted. Sometimes the tire will need “turned” on the wheel as all wheels and tires have areas where weight is slightly more concentrated than others.

So if the top of the tire and wheel are point A, then remounting the tire turned 90-180 degrees with point A towards the side or bottom of the wheel will counter balance the concentrated area of the tire and wheel. Follow?

Some have more than others. I have the exact wheels on one of our truck’s at the moment. One has two weights on it. The other has two rows of weights. It’s usually more of an install issue than a wheel balance issue.

Do you guys charge shipping on the VenomRex 602? I couldn't get the beadlocks on my 2019 but these look very nice.

Just to add a bit to what @ameration said, and being rather frank, a lot of mount/balance techs just add weights until all the lights turn green. Sometimes they add not enough or too much and they'll knock one side out of balance before the other. Next thing you know, the wheel is in balance, but it's got 20+ weights on it when it could have only had 5.

Often times a lazy installer will not want to break the bead and rotate the tire on the rim to counter balance the natural weight of the tire and rim.

Instead they just throw on as much weight as needed to balance out the tire/wheel.
