It's a virtual pot of rumor stew over there. Like 8 or 9 threads going on the same thing, rediculous. There's one member there who's "source" has actually given him pics. According to him, they were changing out the crank sensor. That and blueovalforums is saying it's just a quality hold and they're taking care of it and shipping them.....right about now. Those are the only ones I'm listening too.

Hey man what FOB were you at? I was running CET missions out of Kandahar a couple years ago...

funny story... I got moved from Iraq to A'stan because one of our guys was concussed (turned out to be worse than that) because a hostile shot him in the forehead... blew his helmet clean off. Because I was originally ordered to Iraq, when my orders expired they could not hold me, like they could with people originally ordered to A'stan. I stayed up all night in preparation for a night shift the next night working at the prison, when a couple of E-6s busted in and said i needed to go outprocess cause i needed to be on a plane in 3 days. I outprocessed in 6 hours and went and talked to the e8 who said if I could get on an earlier plane, go for it...

I went down to the air terminal and basically said I need to fly out of here... they booked me to Manas with no orders, no confirmation from my chain of command nothing...

Good thing I was not trying to go AWOL cause I could have made it all the way back to the US... there was NO controls in place at all...

I was at FOB torkham. That is a crazy story. I actually got held for a bit because my orders didnt have my dog on them. somebody in brigade failed me.

you call ford... give them your vin (or the last 8 digits of it) and they tell you.
