Got a Noob question.

Hiya, guys. Got myself a Gen2 2020 Raptor with 802A package with Lead Foot exterior for a few months until my cousin decides whether or not he wants to sell it. (He's got a Raptor R coming his way.)
I am totally new to truck driving, or 4x4s in general. When should I put the car into 4A or 4H mode? I guess 4L is pretty obvious even for a novice like myself. Also, does driving in 4 wheel drive mode cause higher fuel consumption?

Keep it in 2H or 4a. For the break down, 2H on road, 4a on snow/slippery conditions, 4H Dirt ONLY, 4L Extreme low traction situations ONLY!

look up videos on the driving modes. Also, could give up a man card and read the vehicle instructions.

On the street 2A or 4A only. Dirt 4H and as mentioned, extreme situations 4L. Yes being in 4A will increase fuel usage.
