10-4......was scared to take toys out to ocotillo with the border patrol checkpoint so close and strong military presence in SD County. Wasn't aware it was legal for I'm not aware of any gun ranges in the county

I'm military, the more military presence, the better. . 99% of the military is pro-2nd Amend.

It's the guys in the little funny brown uniforms you have to worry about.

On the SVRA website now and just for clarification for those of us traveling north on the 5 - exit Smokey bear road, left off of exit, go under freeway, left on pyramid lake road and immediate right onto hungry valley road.....correct? Sent from my HTC6500LVW using Tapatalk

No. Please read the first post. Nobody exit smokey bear. Continue on the 5 and exit Gorman. Make a left and go under the freeway. Make a right at the McDonalds and take the road for about a mile. The entrance is marked about a mile down the road on the left. You can see the entrance and pay booth. Once you pay, enter the parking lot immediately to the right of the payment booth. That is the North Entrence Visitors Center. Our first trail is located at the end of the parking lot. I will be there at 7:30 sharp.
