Same glass as used on cell phones and it's "basically indestructible?"
[chortle, hehehehehehehe]
its actually the same glass used on helicopter windshields. The type of gorilla glass used on phones is far thinner, yet is still WAY stronger than tempered glass.

They do sell a windshield that will fit gen2 raptors, however your collision avoidance/autobraking, auto-wipers and auto-highbeams will not work with it, as gorilla glass has very different optical qualities when compared to tempered glass ( which all of the cameras and sensors are calibrated to use).

I'm due for a new windshield this winter and I'm now contemplating doing one of these.

Thanks to the OP for sharing.

All our Windshields have been tested to comply and work to Lane Departure Warning Systems and collision warning systems. If you would like to know more about this, please reference glass bytes here!

then why does your wizard refuse to display a part number if you select that you have those features?

I'm just posting information found on their site.. not affiliated. I'd be happy to own their company though lol.

My wife and I each go through a windshield or two every year, so one of these is probably worth a shot when the need arises. Oem ones usually run us about $700 anyway, so it’s not a drastic jump [emoji2371]

I have gorilla glass on my 720 roof and can’t tell the difference between that and the windshield. Heard a few other owners had them crack but not sure what the cause was.
