Yo can do a Ford buyback which I just did on my 15 lariat which took a little over 2 months from start to payoff on my loan. However once you get a lawyer involved you will no longer be able to get any help from ford and will most likely take 18 months. They are helpful as log as you don't have a lawyer. Just call ford and tell them you have a lemon, they will look at your service history and send you a letter within a week or two with a decision. Good luck, do you have a rental car?
I've called Ford and it's already at Tier 2.....no help whatsoever.....technically it's not a lemon as they know the problem, they know the fix, they just have no parts with none in sight.....I do have an '18 F150 to use which I had to fight for after 2 weeks in being in a base Ford Escape.....not horrible but not something I want long term.....
Did you start a chat with ford performance? Are you talking to Ford Detroit or just your dealer?
If they arent at least making your truck payment its your fault. They paid mine for 21 days out of service.
I have advanced this well beyond my dealer.....Twitter @FordService and then on to Tier 2 with a regional manager.....that's as far as they'll take it.....all I get is "we're working on trying to get the part as fast as we can".....I don't have a payment.....I've asked for some sort of reimbursement but go nowhere....Having a rental and no payment leaves me kinda SOL on that part
Honestly all I want is my truck fixed in a speedy fashion....so far there is no end in sight and a lot of BS along the way....
