I'm 6'3" and I think it's gonna work fine. We may have to lower our seats a bit but it should be fine. We'll see when I give it a test run.

obviously everyone is confident the camera is sticking no matter what?? Hood gets hot - but no issues?

I saw SPRSNK's GoPro take a pretty hard whip from thick desert brush when we were on a whooped-out trail we ran at speeds from about 60-80mph.... I was impressed, the thing didn't budge. If you want something even beefier, check out the Fat Gecko mounts with double suction cups like JP7 has on his Drift Cam setup.

If you have tube bumpers a superclamp is definitely the way to go. Then when your done shooting with your gopro, you can throw on an SLR! The other good thing is that these pieces are all modular so if you wanted to add a suction cup later you could easily do that. @ $35 the gopro suction cup will be by far the best deal. The cups we use are almost 3x that but having a suction cup with a pump/line is pretty crucial so you can see quickly and easily if there is a leak. Oh, and bo... I also use the superclamp for my patented "**** cam"... you should try it out. I'll send you an invoice...

All the Hero kits have the same cam, the only differences are the mounts that come with. The helmet hero has a few mounts you can use on the truck, but if you want more, you may wanna google the GoPro Motorsports Hero, which BestBuy doesn't carry (I checked recently). You can also buy any kit and then get the mounts from other kits separately.
