I just signed up and I am planning on going to Silver Lake on Friday, since I am coming from MD I will be traveling to MI on Thursday. Is any one else planning on getting there Thursday? If so you staying Thursday night at Hilton in Grand Rapids or is there a hotel closer to Silver Lake that the group going to the dunes on Friday staying at?

I was debating about getting a motel at Silver Lake on Thursday night but decided to stay at the Hilton instead, that way I don't have to unpack and pack up our stuff plus I imagine there will be a convoy from the Hilton to Silver Lake that you can join on Friday morning. There are several including myself checking in on Thursday. See you then!

Ill be leaving detroit Thursday morning if anyone is going across the ambassador or nearby. Im gonna stay at silver lake Thursday night.

The trails would be much easier to hit on the way back from the dunes to the Hotel.

Here is a route from the dunes to the hotel with about 60 miles of ORV trails. The Red is the ORV routes. Green is highway.

Im sure there will be some trucks going. I can provide a GPX or USR file. This will not be GLRE supported. We have quite a bit of stuff to setup for the evening registration.
