Checking in at the Best Western in Allen Park on the 25th and got tickets to the Ford Museum and Rogue factory tour for the 26th, they have a hotel package deal. Will be heading to the Hilton the evening of the 26th to check-in there.

The event is a month away....Register!!

I've seen plenty of Raptors show up to various events with their TEMP tags still on.

Not to mention, there is no better way to get some "drive time under your belt" than on a controlled and prepped track...just sayin.

Exactly what Big Blue said, no better way to get some drive time under your belt then being in a controlled environment with drivers with experience to show you some do's and don'ts.
Get in on the "Sportsman Class" and take your time around the track to see what your truck is capable of.
You'll also meet some outstanding people and make some new friends.

FYI - The Dearborn Inn hotel is a really cool Ford historical site. It's not your typical Holiday Inn or Best Western style hotel and it's only about one block away from the Henry Ford Museum and Rouge Factory Tour pickup spot; I would guess that they have a free shuttle to take you there.

The Dearborn Proving Grounds were originally the Ford Airport and the Dearborn Inn was it's hotel. The hotel is still owned by Ford, but managed by Mariott.

No rooms for that package deal at Dearborn Inn for those dates plus it looks even more expensive (but most likely a better hotel, of course).

I finally made it official...the Wife Unit and I are in.

Is there anyone coming from the East/by way of Cleveland OH/RT 90 that wants to convoy up Friday morning to head to the Dunes?

Which reminds me, I need all the ORV/MI off-road permits, flag, and flag bracket.

I'm doing mid-perch this weekend, and adding an extra rear leaf maybe next weekend to make those landings a little softer.
