Wonderful day starting!!!

We leave for Snoball one week from today.

Truck just went in to have new heater put in drivers seat (2nd occurrence) and one the way there had to put into 4wd (city plowed main streets and side streets were not yet touched. Broke through the plow pile.)

Anyway, made left turn and then "CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK" from left hub.

IWE? I'm having them check it out. We'll see.

I sure as hell hope they get it fixed in time! They know I'm leaving so hopefully they get this done.

Mine goes in tomorrow for some prep before the run, They are putting in the Howe power steering system so I will bring along my stock pump that they pull out for a spare should someone need it. (Knock on wood, my truck has never had PS problems but I am being proactive)

It is an IWE issue for sure. But be careful that the dealer doesn't call it just a vacuum issue. If they do, the vacuum issue and the IWE both need to be fixed.

That noise you heard was the IWE slipping and grinding itself to pieces. It is damaged if you hear it. If there is a vacuum issue, then it has been wearing the IWE out. The IWE is a metal/plastic part that cannot withstand those issues.
