Glass fenders and antenna?

I'm am in the process of having a body shop install Boatec fenders. I didn't think about the antenna. What have you guys done for it. Did you mount one on the fender in the stock spot. Put the antenna somewhere else? I like the look of it not being there. Thanks for your input

reuse the factory support bracket on the stock fender- it will locate it for you. Disconnect it behind the glove box to pull it out. I always put them back on

Sometimes I listen to Am for Football and Baseball games. Ill probably just leave the wires and bracket zip tied just in case I want to drill a hole in the future. It seems like you could access it through the side vent pretty easy.

Anyone else have any success under the fender? Tried both Stubby and factory antenna under fender, get zero reception... I have the base bolted to the back of the SVT insert, running along frame. Should i look to ground that on the frame? I do have the antenna zipped to the frame, which i figured would help some...

Yes, i do have sirius, but hope to have my local fm/am news options... tho not at the expense of putting it back on top of the fender ;)
