I mounted the ground by the passenger side fuse box

Ran the wires up over the rear doors and down the side door and under the foot panel

I installed mine this weekend and frankly not super pumped with their connector bolt blind nut combo. Will probably do rivnuts or something similar. Gasket is suspect too.

do you think those plastic inserts will hold? I'm considering installing some nutcerts this week. for such a well thought our product it's odd to have such a ****** method of connecting it.

i think most people run the plastic inserts.. i don't see any easy way to install their provided mounts... so far so good for me. but i only got this done recently.

I wouldn't over think this all too much, I've used the OE plastic pieces since day 1 and no issues... Had one of the first units too, and A LOT of hard miles.

Agreed. I run the GJ Motorsports rear amber-brake light/antenna mount and have had plenty of direct tree limb strikes and that thing is solid as a rock. One of my first and best modifications.

All, I wanted to chime in here. The intent for the wire harness was to run down the "C" pillar and under the threshold, Behind the "B" pillar then under the threshold again to the "A" pillar and the BCM. This avoids conflicts with the airbags. The new versions of the STT harness with the flashers mounts the flasher unit under the dash and not on the back wall of the cab, GJ Motorsports will be removing that set of directions from the website. Unfortunately Ford decided to print the image of the BCM upside down for some reason. So please make sure you are looking for the right connector and the correct wire. I'm always looking for feedback on my products so feel free to send me an email at [email protected] or Call me at 312-317-9444. Like the rest or the world I get a lot of Spam calls so I may not pick up. Text me first and tell me who you are and I will know to take your call or simply leave a message. If you call and hang up, I'm going to assume your want to sell me an extended warranty and I won't call you back. I take calls from 9AM to 9PM 7 days a week. Call me if you have any questions, I'm always here for you. Thanks for Liking this product so much, Tom at GJ has done and amazing job manufacturing this product. Also as far as the seals and clips, they work great, I have had mine on for over a year and have done a lot of hard miles from Michigan to Moab and the deserts of Vegas, trust me you won't go any harder than I do.
