Got the brake light in this weekend. Was pretty easy. Didnt have to touch the head liner, used a coat hanger to snake the harness to the rear passenger side corner ( removed corner trim piece). Attacked the ground to the rear wall, ran harness under all the trim all the way to the front passenger kicker panel. The reverse wire to tap in to is green & brown. Used uplifter 3 for the 2 ambers.

Yeah, but it wasnt a problem. Didnt mess around with the headliner at all. I used a old coat hanger to snake the wires to the rear passenger pillar from the whole of the rear brake light.

I pulled the headliner down by the rear just a bit. Enough to grab the wire bundle. I ran it to the passenger side pillar. WORD OF CAUTION: Make sure you route your wires BEHIND/away from the rear air bag. Also be CAREFUL when pulling the pillar out. The top plastic notch is fragile and will bend crazy when you pull it... so when you go to put it back in, it'll just flop around. Makes it a pain to re-install... so just don't use all your strength when popping it out is all... this way you can re-insert the plastic nub back into the notch easily. Then just run the wires along the floors wire tray up to your interior upfitter pass-throughs. Pretty easy.

The hardest part for me was the gasket. Just getting it lined up perfectly because of my OCD

Is GJ still in business? I tried calling a few times this past week and filled out an email question and haven’t heard anything. I’m interested in getting one of these.

Ohh he's very much in business. Tom's busy cranking out new products all the time so he's probably busy working on cutting out parts and powder coating them (can't get any more american made then that can ya).

I got your PM and did reply. We have them available on our website.

This thread interested me because I'm installing a FM comm radio and looking at other antenna mounting... while working on that I finally got a chance to wire up my rear facing dust lights (SII Sport amber driving combo) and I was very impressed at how much light those pump out for being so small...The Pro's might be to bright...maybe....:)

It's definitely one of the more popular ways to mount an antenna. in fact, it's why I went with it on our demo truck (outside of using it to DEMONSTRATE the setup lol)... I wanted something clean/elegant to mount my hi-band radio antenna. I didn't want a mag mount or anything drilled into the truck...so this was perfect.

I keep a cap on the NMO mount when im not using the radio

Must have been why I couldn't get him to refund my shock cores for weeks and weeks and after many emails. I would pass on doing business with him again. His communication sucks, and I already have oil leaking from one of the schraders.
