I had a Gen3 on order for two months towards the end of last year. Dealer told me it wasn't going to happen, no allocation of course. So instead of 83,200 it think it was I bought a used 2020 in the color I wanted mint with 23,000 miles. Then used the extra money to do some mods and ceramic coat and tint it. Looking back....still happy with the decision.

Tons of TRX here in Michigan where I Live, I've seen zero gen3's TRX doesn't have the same appeal or value long term as the Raptor, just look at all the used hellcat cars out there selling for nothing , dime a dozen.

Before I placed my original raptor order, I was comparing it to the trx. However, paying 90k for a truck before TTL seemed insane. Because of that, I chose to place an order for a raptor. About a month after placing my original raptor order, it was canceled due to the dealer not having an allocation. Because of this, I began looking around for another allocation at MSRP. After about a week of calling dealerships trying to find one that had an allocation with no success, I began to look at other options, mainly the trx.
After looking around for a few days, I was able to find a dealership willing to sell me an order for a trx for 10k off sticker. That made the decision between ordering a trx or continuing to look for an MSRP raptor extremely difficult. After thinking about it for a few days, I placed my order for a TRX. Two days after I placed my order, I received my vin#, and fourteen days after that, the truck went into production. I now have an estimated delivery date of 04/09/22.
I just wanted to share my story about my raptor/trx hunt. It is crazy to believe that you can find a ram dealership willing to sell a trx for 10k off MSRP but can't find a ford dealership willing to sell a raptor for less than 10k over MSRP.
That just shows you how much better the raptor is than the ram. Go drive a ram and you will see why they trade them for a ford including TRX.

I sold my Gen 2 and got the TRX…I’m much happier. Paid $96k for a loaded 2021 from a dealer with 5,000 miles on it. Interior is far superior to my Raptor and the ride is significantly better honestly. The biggest issue I had with the Raptor was the programming on the transmission. Reset multiple times by the dealer but still never shifted well. Always sounded lazy

I'm going to throw the bs flag on that one.

If anything RAM was way ahead of the power curve with their new generation of trucks, leaving chevy, toyota and ford playing catch up.

"you get what you pay for" yeah, still talking about 70k plus trucks here bro.
Ok, how is RAM light years ahead of Ford? Please enlighten all of us.

You sure look like a RAM fanboy that has made a troll account here to stir the pot. I will go ahead and say it, there is nothing superior about RAM. ******* Garbage.

nah I'm just a dude that doesn't drink the kool aid. Only a fool thinks ford is the only player in town that makes a good truck.

In particular, after ram released their newest ram truck version a few years ago, that interior blew away the competition. You'll notice all the other manufacturers have updated since then, playing catch up.

I call it like it is.

My neighbor has a rebel, real nice truck.
