Genuine life expectancy for the Gen1?

Last year I was looking at a 2019 Ruby Crew and a 14 Ruby Crew. Saved 23k on getting the 14' and couldnt be happier. I did like the 19 and newer interior. I imagine the 6.2 on that new trans and lighter frame would be beast. Still not quite the get up and go a 3.5TT though. 97k in the 6.2 & problem free so far. Had a 10' with 131k and rust was becoming a problem.

At the rate I’m driving my truck, I imagine it being outlawed for emission reasons before it craps out.

I LOVE MY GEN 1. 166,740 miles and problem free. Getty Cab corners done in a few weeks. But all trucks eventually go through that
