Since it's all metal, how hot do these get in the summer?

They can certainly get warm just like if you leave your truck parked in the direct sun. The Evo Sport has small sliders on both sides and one behind the cab of the truck which allow for good ventilation. The Evo Adventure just has the small slider behind the cab of the truck. We've also seen a handful of folks that have come up with some DIY methods of insulating the interior of the shell to help regulate the temperature.

Got it. Thank you. I currently have a GFC Topper, and the translucent roof keeps things pretty cool. Was hoping to go to something with side windows, but a little apprehensive about the all steel design of the smart cap.
