For those of you who still believe the fake news that FordTechOne typically spouts, here is why the passenger car version (the Raptor version) of the Ecoboost can't handle 600+crank horsepower. The reason is that the Ford GT version is a hand built race motor with far more exotic internals...
That engine would probably cost as much as a base Raptor if Ford put it in their parts catalog. They would never do that, though, as it's just too expensive for the power it makes.
The Le Mans cars had even more exotic engines. Billet blocks, billet cranks, not even built by Ford, each of which cost more to build than the retail price of any F-150 that has ever existed.
