When I drove to the Keys shortly after trading my Gen 2 for the Gen 3 I’m sure I had pissed off drivers when I was blinding them heading down I-95

Oh im sure. hopefully the bags help without sacrificing ride comfort

Geiser rears with Airlift 1000HD bags inside the springs. A little bouncy rear when loaded but its minor. I aired my bags to 45psi but I’m happy with the stance of truck while towing

Oh yeah that looks a lot better. How much weight do you think you have on the tongue?

AKSteve, how much does your 25-foot Airstream trailer weigh? looks heavy!

I think the loaded weight is 7,300lbs and the tongue weight is a little over 800lbs. I also had a 65lb generator and a small gas grill in the bed of the truck, plus some gear in the back seat, so I was most likely a bit overweight.

I'm starting to come to the realization that this just isn't the right truck for me if I want to tow my RV on a regular basis. I'd like to take a long trip with it this year and I will most likely pick up a used F250 for that.

If some airbags come out soon for the Gen 3 Raptor, I might give that a try. The truck has tons of power and it pulled the. trailer just fine and the brakes were more than adequate. But that much rear end sag doesn't feel safe to me for anything more than a weekend camping trip with daytime driving only.

The sag is pretty bad for 7,300 lbs. I'm only going to be towing about 4,500+ lbs and was thinking I have some room to grow, but now I'm doubting it. lol

I also got confused why my hitch says MAX GROSS TRLR WT of 9,000 lbs with Weight Distribution. Is the 8,200 lbs towing capacity that I've read everywhere without weight distribution?

This is with a 25 foot Airstream trailer. I plan to either ad airbags or use a different vehicle of some sort this year. This saggy rear end is just unacceptable. If I could fix this issue, the truck would be perfect, so I'm hoping to find a good airbag solution before summer.View attachment 394652
Now that is an awesome trailer.

Correct me if I’m wrong here, but it looks to clearly show that without a dist. hitch, it’s 500 tongue and 5,000 max towing.
