Does no one else have issue with the terrible and cheap looking, gimmicky gear shifter on the gen 3?

I'm old school and only want the shifter in the console (not some rotary or on the stick) and the shifter on the gen 2, at least the CF version, is beefy and really nice for a truck. The stupid fold down thing, while practical for some, looks like a terrible toy to me, something you would see in a kids little tykes

I was really hopeful the Raptor would remove that feature.

I don’t believe this to be true, the folding work area is an option but the the gear selector

I had to go look at my ‘19 SCREW to see if there was any difference. I can’t see enough to get excited about the gen 3. ******** the V8 supercharged and I’m in!

I’m the opposite, I couldn’t care less about the SC V8, the new suspension and 37ic tire is what makes me want to ditch my Gen 2 but I honestly don’t think I like the looks of the Gen 3 better. Maybe I just need to see it in person

Maybe.... I’m just personally not a fan. Just like dodge and ram putting the HP and TQ on the interior of their vehicles. Just corny to me

The power badge on the TRX is corny and almost gimmicky stupid. Not to mention they all say the same power duh. Sorry thing is, the old guy living back in his hay day loves it as he revs the engine at the mall parking lot.

Ford Raptor is the only vehicle to come on 37’s from the factory. So it’s one of the Gen 3’s true claim to fame. Ford is going to ride out this one and be proud of it. I wouldn’t mind the small badging on the tailgate most likely.
