37 on the side is corny

If you watch the reveal/review on TFL they have to label the truck to show it’s different than the standard Raptor. Even without the graphics they put a “37” on the tailgate.

Imagine Snoop Dogg and Dre rolling around in the 6-4 impala with white wall tires on the Dayton wire wheels, and having to advertise or label the 125/25/13 tire size. Would have killed the vibe...

I actually like the 37 on the tailgate. It’s also basically a sticker, so if you don’t like it you can take it off after you get home.

Isn't that crap on the side stickers as well? I can live with the tailgate sticker. The others would come right off, especially the side graphics. I dislike stickers in general and these are especially bad. What really annoys me is having to pay $2000 for something I hate and will peel off and throw in the trash. And yes, I know that I can order one and pay Ford $2000 to not put them on. That doesn't exactly fix the problem the way I would like it fixed.

You'll be able to order the Raptor with 37's without the graphics package. It will still have the "37" sticker on the back of the tailgate, but nothing along the sides of the truck.

Yes, I know. But you still have to pay for the graphics package since it's a no-charge delete option. And right now you also have to pay for the **** blue interior, carbon fiber, etc. I just want a base truck with 37s and a Torsen. I'm hoping by MY2023 or 2024 they'll be trying to increase volume and may become more flexible on the options. If they don't, I might buy a MY2024 anyway, but if they were to offer the right options package in a color I really like sooner than that, I'd be really tempted to jump on it. I've only got 11k on my 2020, so there's no hurry. I have plenty of time to watch the show. Ford produces something that compels me, I pull out my wallet. It's up to them.

I thought the sticker package was extra, not standard? I very well could be wrong there. I also agree that the blue seats suck. I like my black leather seats in my 2020.

As I understand it, stickers come with the 37s. You can delete them for no extra charge, tut you still pay for them. I guess we'll see for sure when the order banks open. Enough people have complained about 37s being married to **** blue and stickers that maybe Ford will change how the options are packaged.

I watched that video of the tell all release with the Ford Raptor project manager. It does seem like they listened to what upgrades people wanted and implemented them. Yeah yeah the V8 crowd may see the R. Interestingly enough they started worked on the coil/multi link rear some years back. So it wasn’t something thrown in there to be on par with the TRX with. Styling starts from the base F-150 so love it or hate it and they can only build on that with the Raptor.

While they may listen in regards to the options and packages from potential customers and what they want. This may all be set in stone at this point. Bean counters have to work numbers well ahead of time and probably not easy to change, until the following model year. Which has been done on the Gen 2.
