Anyone know where the second alternator is for the power tech package? I read the dual extra batteries are under the passenger rear seat. From what I gather the alternator is above the ac compressor on the passenger side

Ordered mine with the Power Tech package primarily to get the step in the tailgate !! Have had step in my 150XLT and my 150Lariat and has so many uses with the most important one being getting my aging big @#@ up in the bed !!

Me too. I use the step all of the time. Basically, I paid $2000 for the step and got some other stuff with it.

Yeah, I am super frustrated that you can't get the step without the power package...
