Base price yes, but you get a truck as good as an XLT, it will be so minimal and maximum wait time to get it produced. Base price 59k thats the clean slate, you add what you need and end up 95k, thats the trend these daysAnyone buy into the supposed base pricing of $56-$59k?
Man, I was betting on more HP!
If true, that’s a bummer. Not that my Gen 2 is weak but those HP numbers are sooo 2017.
White gen3 yuck.
I disagree. Don’t forget the Ford GT uses the 3.5 Ecoboost but it’s tuned to over 600 hp. The GT has a shorter exhaust system, but I don’t think the Raptor’s exhaust system is so restrictive that Ford couldn’t tune the 3.5 HO for more power. If 450hp and 540 tq is correct could that mean Ford has something else in mind for the RaptorR? Hopefully a V8? And not the 7.3 V8 that’s in the SD.If this is the case and these are the power figures, it appears they now have maxed out the ecoboost lineup. A slight power bump engine wise but the powerboost system is the only way in the future modest gains will be realized. It more than compares with other brands, so why would they have to go much beyond a bump in power. Running near a TRX is another story.
