700+HP and eight lug wheels in rear would catch a lot of people’s eyes. It’s caught my eye.

Real question is.....will they ever make the leap to 6 lugs in their 1/2 tons? lol

You can put Live Valve or any shock they want on a multi-link coil rear setup.

Funny how new it still is to trucks, but it’s really an old established suspension setup on cars. Leaf’s have been cheap to make, tough as nails and work well for trucks.

Multi link is obviously the next level up. Just more costly, but competition is good for creating better products.

Couldn’t agree more, happy Ram is going forward with the TRX. I hope others try to dethrone the Raptor as well. Competition will create better products and keep the price down.

I have heard some on here complain about ford over producing the raptor and losing the “ exclusiveness” of the vehicle. I could care less how exclusive a vehicle is...who cares if everyone on the block has one if it’s an awesome vehicle.

But it drives down resale...I mean resale value plays a small part in what vehicles I buy but let’s face it...certain vehicle you just buy bc they are fun to own.

Based on the price range of this truck, Ford will still only be able to sell so many. If they add multi-link coil suspension and upgrade the engine to say a GT’s motor or V8, etc. I can see this truck selling for 85-95k. While it will be wanted by more folks, They will still only sell so many at that price point. Dodge has a nack for mass producing for cheaper. Fords going to need to stay somewhat close in price.

I believe the TRX will be dropping well before the gen 3 so it will give Ford time to see how many units they move and how well it does. If the Ram sells a lot and does well Ford will have to do something.

Can’t see that being production and not allowing for tire rotation. But it’s pre production.

I hope you are right, but seriously doubt we see a TRX before 2022

Curious has anyone upgraded out of the new live valve shocks to a larger shock? If so did it effect any ECU type things...
