Looks fun!I've got about 9k on my 22, and it's seen plenty of Baja miles. Figured I'd snap a few pics from one of my latest adventures south to surf some of my favorite spots. Next mods up are split console safe, BD pro fog lights and a Diamond Back cover. My jeep would give me micro concussions on the trails, lol. The raptor is really in a class of its own. Sorry to all the 23 people out there without the heated steering wheel. Love the seats and wheel heated after getting out of cold water. For those wondering, I always stop at the Starbucks in Ensenada before I head further south.

Same here. MichiganJealous that Baja is so accessible for you. Gotta say though...those roads are in better shape than most of the paved city streets in my area.
Thanks for sharing your magazine-worthy pictures. I can’t wait to join the fun!I've got about 9k on my 22, and it's seen plenty of Baja miles. Baja is not that dangerous, just don't be a ******* and you'll be alright. Now if you get caught with a weapon, well that's on you and enjoy the Mexican jail...Want to make that trip at some point myself. But haven't for similar reasons.
Well hell. At least you have Silver Lake Sand Dunes in your backyard! Lol I know it’s no Baja but still…Same here. Michigan
Add extra cleats, or just have the cleats pre-installed? I was considering not having the cleats pre-installed since it might look cleaner than having them on. I was going the SE route since it was cheaper. The $2400 price tag of the HD and I was almost at the same amount of money as buying a cap.Great pictures. Gotta get there some day just like a number of other locations folks here have been kind enough to show off in pictures and stories.
BTW - You’ll love the DiamondBack once you get it. Note if you go the SE route be sure to have them add extra cleats like @John M BUNMAN has recommended as they are handy things to have. No need to do that with the HD version and you bump the on top payload up from 400 lbs to 1600 lbs.
I had debated going with a cap versus a tonneau cover having had a truck with a cap previously and remembered how the cover limited hauling some things without having to pull off the entire cap. The DiamondBack allowed me to put things on top of it or if necessary, pull one or both of the panels. I also liked the look of a tonneau cover on the Raptor. So in my case both form and function lead me to the DiamondBack.Add extra cleats, or just have the cleats pre-installed? Would love to hear more comments on my though process. It could be completely backwards. I definitely wasn't going to get the diamond texture either way.
