Let's hear about these major issues you are referencing.

So far, all I have seen is minor stuff related to loose hoses, stuff rubbing under the hood, and clips not being removed from some hoses. There have also been minor fitment issues easily resolved by the owner.

What major issues are at hand for the 2021 Raptors?
Minor stuff like loose hoses? Lol, when you loose all your coolant or tranny fluid I would consider that much more than minor.

My 2015 F150 Platinum had it’s lower engine block replaced as a result of a piece of the piston skirt breaking off and getting into the engine :33:

I’ve had two (2) MB GL550’s bought back under lemon law, back-to-back for the exact same reasons, “major electrical malfunctions” that could not be fixed, will never own another MB in my lifetime.

Since cars are “mechanical” and even more so “electrical” these days, failures are going to happen. I’ve been hammering the HELL out of my Gen 3 in Sport Mode and it has not broken, yet. Sometimes, LUCK is involved.
Yea the wife’s X5tt was in the shop for 69 days with so many issues, bmw flew a master tech from Germany and could not figure it out. We got a call from BMW corp and said we’re sorry but you have a new car waiting for you at the dealership. She had 5 X5’s and that was the only one with issues so it happens

Seems like we have a different opinion on what constitutes a major issue then. Fair enough.
I would say "major" would define as there would be a huge recall already on these trucks.. like transmission or engine recall, serious type stuff. Or even multiple recalls.. But production mishaps like a hose here, 1 turbo there, 1 noisy fan that already has a software update is just the simple pains of being a human factory worker..

Exactly. It is not a flaw in design or manufacturing process, it is an isolated event. A major issue is when several trucks roll off the line with the same issue.

I agree that luck has a lot to do with “getting a good one”. And trying to avoid Monday morning or Friday afternoon builds:)
