Gen 3 Baja designs lower grille 10" light.

I have a Baja Designs OnX6+ lower grille setup from my gen 2 and was wondering if anyone has installed this same kit into their Gen 3? I dont have the truck yet so I cant verify fit yet so Im doing research so if I have to order anything itll be here in the truck arrives. I know there is a bracket from SPV for this type of setup but it looks awfully similar to the Baja Designs bracket. Anyone get the kit from Baja designs to fit?

Call @Baja Designs and ask. Or look up the part number for a Gen 3 and compare with the part number off the Gen 2.

The Gen2 Bracket won't fit as the Gen3 is slightly different.

The onyx is bigger and might block the intercooler. Just something to be aware of. And the S8 down there is pretty useless IMO.

I ran it on my 2017 for a few years without issue. I live where it rarely gets over 85 degrees F so Im not too worried about a little less air flow. Its obviously not optimal but its really no worse than having the license plate there for those who have to run a front plate and dont relocate it.

Yeah good point on the plate. I have the S8 down there now and there’s room for the shutters. I just know that Onyx bar is legit and deeper. Good to know your 17 was good to go

Thanks. I might have to go this route once the truck gets here. Im going to see if the Baja Designs bracket can be modified slightly to work. If not Ill be making a purchase through you guys. Thanks!

The Baja Bracket will be too tall to fit properly. That's why we have the Gen3 Bracket as it's not as tall to fit in the opening. It's slightly smaller on the Gen3 Raptors
