Update:
Other observations: You really have to slam the rear doors to get them to close all the way (if it is the only one open) I suppose the lighter aluminum has something to do with that. Kind of annoying when you are unloading stuff out of back seat and hands are full, its hard to close with elbow and it seems that I am having to get out of the truck on the next trip and re-close the door. .

I actually found the rubber trim on the door had pulled out at the lower end (plastic clips not in the holes), which was causing some of the issue. Still requires a lot of effort to close even after corrected

Another option: One of the members (Image98, IIRC) installed the Hellwig Rear Sway Bar #7743 on his 2017 Raptor and was happy with the results...others with (non-Raptor) F-150's have done this as well. Not sure how much this would impact off roading capability though.

I've had the experience of riding and driving both generations since my ex bf had a 2014 model and I currently own a 2017 model. The Gen 2 is better in every way. From ride, to comfort, power, practicality, ease of the drive modes and so on. The two are like night and day and the Gen 2 is by far and away a better truck.
