Crank and main journals look good to me, but I’ll get ‘em cleaned up and mic’d out, along with the rest of the block (cylinders, etc.) by a machine shop to be sure.

I’m pretty sure the cylinders will just need a light hone, but again, will have someone who does this for a living take a look first.

Edit: And yes, I removed the piston oil squirters after this pic!

Quick update: Well, the local machine shop that I’ve used in the past no longer accepts engine/automotive work; in fact, no longer does business with the public…purely business-to-business; mostly oil and gas companies.

Damn.

Back to square one. Looking locally, but I’d be willing to ship or travel to have someone good work on my short block. Maybe Mountune?

I’m sure RMB does great work, but no way I’m rolling the dice with him and his ****** up “business model” right now.
