Gen 2 SCAB makeover…totally not ripping off Geoff’s 2.5 build!

Y’all earned my business with your products @full-race geoff , the way you share info here, and online, and most importantly, through your customer service. Your team’s been great with comms too.

Sent an email to your team earlier today btw, looks like my trans will be finished NLT Friday, so got the truck loaded up and heading out in the AM. Gonna stay in Tucson (well, actually Davis Monthan AFB) tomorrow night, then up to PHX Friday morning.

Need to drop off some stuff at a friend’s house over in Scottsdale first, then will head your way. Will hit Tier 1 at some point Friday afternoon to get my trans loaded up, and plan to head back here some time Saturday morning.

Somewhere in there I’ll load up the Full Race stuff too!

Still nowhere near ready to put the rebuilt trans back in yet, but did get a couple things done today. Got the new wheels and tires on so I can finish disconnecting everything to pull the cab, and start in on the motor:







Will get the grill and other stuff off the front to drain the radiator and oil coolers, then get them removed. Don’t need to remove ‘em for the cab off, but I have new ones from Full Race, so I may as well get ‘em out now.

Also, I couldn’t help but take a peek at the new fuel pump and injectors:





Hard to believe such tiny little things will allow me to almost double the horsepower from stock…when combined with bigger turbos, better manifolds, an intake, and a tune of course!

More to follow as I continue to move forward at a glacial pace.

And a couple more pics of the beat up C/D/F drum and the main drum, AKA “the trashcan”







You can see where the bushing has slipped in the C/D/F housing, and if you zoom in on that third pic, you can literally see where the teeth of the steels and clutches were hammering away, then swiping a mark on the ribs of that poor housing.

Got the stuff from Full Race mostly unpacked and inventoried:

…and now just watchin’ some football while @Lurker5 borrows my lift to install some @Baja Designs lights on his ‘24 Raptor.

And @full-race geoff y’all certainly don’t skimp on the packing materials! LoL
