Not sure that is the case.

My comment was more so about how the gen 1’s have such a weird cross section we’re the bump stops are that you can’t C notch it very well.

The gen 2’s look so much cleaner.

The Gen 2 is a unique frame, it’s not shared with any other F-150, and certainly not a Super Duty lol. Gen 1 was the same frame as a standard F-150.

Best way to protect the shaft from rocks and also helps keep mud and dirt off the spring so your rate doesn’t change.
