Gen 1 spare tire hoist/winch

First, does anyone know if the Raptor part is different than the F-150? Maybe beefier to deal with bigger tire?

Before we bought the '10 someone had cut the cable and swiped the spare. I bought an aftermarket unit and the gears stripped out in short order.

Second, if anyone has removed theirs I would be willing to buy it.

I wouldn't think it would be different than a 4x4 model. My 06 has the same hook thingy as my Rap and both pulled up a 35 with no issue
