Hi guys , just did a routine check on my Gen 1 and found some fluid coming from top of my front differential cover and sliding all the at to bottom of differential cover bolts Like accumulating there . Recently I’ve changed my oil pickup tube and replaced the oil pan gasket . Here are some pics . Thoughts ?

Weird spot for a drip, is it engine oil? Some residue above yours but all I see on mine above that is cylinder head, exhaust manifold, maybe valve cover gasket?
Yea by the way forgot to mention this , I have already broken a new set of gears front and rear ring and pinions , and did change the fluid 2 months ago , I’m not sure but does synthetic gear oil let’s assume it’s residue stay fresh for that long on the diff cover . Plus I don’t know what’s on top of the front diff cover maybe the oil pan , I could be wrong ?

Looks to me like the pan is well inboard of the pumpkin, standard disclaimer I'm no expert heh, but yeah it's possible it's a drip from changing the diff oil so if it was mine I'd clean the area and monitor, watch for puddles under the truck and see if the drip shows back up. Good luck!
