I’m debating on whether to tackle this while I’m installing headers. I’ll have the entire Whipple blower off anyway. Another member recommended me to change these out while I’m that far in. Can you say which side was more trouble to do? The passenger side has to come off completely for headers, so I guess I’m halfway there already. I’m wondering if doing the tranny mount would be smart while all of this is going on? I’ll be a one-man show during all of this.

I think it was RockAuto that had Anchor brand mounts available. Should I stick with oem or go aftermarket?

I'd recommend doing it while you're in there for sure. How many miles? Both sides offer their unique challenges from what I remember. I'd say driver side might be a little more tricky just because of the way the mount is designed. Getting at all of the bolts (through bolt and frame side bolts) were just a little tricky. Requires the right tools and patience.

Definitely do the trans mount. Mine was in horrible shape before I replaced it. I'd always recommend OEM here. I used an OEM trans mount, but couldn't get motor mounts at the time so used what I could get.

Good luck! Let me know if I can help.

I’ve got 120K on it. No hard, rough or abusive driving. Owned it since new. I’ll go ahead and get some ordered. I’d probably kick myself later if I didn’t do it. I hope the driver side will be easier if I swap it between removing manifold and installing header. That’ll give me the most room.

Thanks for your write-up! All the info you can get helps out. I plan to try and take pics and notes and do small write up on my process.

Gotcha. At that mileage I wouldn't expect them to be too bad, but I understand that it's a 'get it done while I'm in there' situation. I'm sure with the exhaust manifolds out they should be much easier. If/when I ever drop in my back-up motor, I'd be hard pressed to not do headers at the same time, that's for sure.
