C9E8FE93-4B3E-4489-AB83-28A44ED712E6.jpeg I am pretty sure that my gear indicator disappeared off the dash. I remember seeing it when I first bought the truck and now it is no longer there. Did I somehow shut that off?

Had that happen to me this morning, hitting the paddle turns it back on. Also was able to have it just show what gear i am in, rather than whole list of 1-10.

LOL I drove a used 18 that displayed the shift indicator before I bought my brand new 19. Didn't see it on mine when I took delivery and thought they must have deleted it for my year.

One day the shift tree just appeared out of nowhere and then I was REALLY confused! Finally figured out the shift button thing.

Also, you may not know that you can use the paddles to lock out gears when using the transmission in automatic mode. The - paddle removes gears from the "allowed" list from the top down, the + paddle adds them back in. The truck will not shift into locked out gears.

Quick vid I recorded just now to demonstrate:

RTFM.....just sayin
Even if you do, it’s not hard to just skip over ‘gear shift lever operation’ assuming you probably know how one works lol.
