Gordon. What's the reason why it looks like the truck isn't sitting on the jack stands correctly? Be careful going under the truck!

I am not there so I have no idea. Probably the way the picture is taken or the rear is supported by the other jack stands. Just pictures Marvin has sent me.

The rear is coming together. Outlaw is trying to have it wrapped up by next week. Then onto the front which will go really quick. The old suspension is off and they have started to gusset the front of the frame.

Couple questions for you Gordon....First, do you know what length the Links are? Second, the two tubes coming out of the cab, how are they attached to the cage....welded directly to the cage or sleeved? Lastly, whats the builders reasoning for going with a short tube and miter cutting the tube that goes across the top rather than using one full length tube and bringing it all the way back to the end of the cage? The miter cut tube I'm talking about is the one with lettering on it. Hope that makes sense.

Not sure of the length of the links. Pretty sure the wheel base is going to be 5-6 inches over stock. The tubes coming out of the cap are welded directly to the cage. I think the tube you are talking about is the back of the fuel cell mount. As to why he did it that way, don't know his reasoning but have full faith in their design. Have to remember the cage is not finished the top supports are yet to be installed. Still needs the top type from the top of the cab toward the rear of the truck.

Not bashing the fab work at all. Just seen it done different ways by different builders and I'm just trying to gain knowledge for when my truck goes under the knife in the future. Definitely want the backhalf to be strong and take whatever abuse gets thrown at it.
Thanks for the reply.

No offense taken. Tons of ways to build these trucks. It's hard for me because I am about 450 miles away and have not actually seen my truck in several months. Most of my info comes from Marvin via text message and iPhone pictures.
