Brand new '19, just over 2000 kms on it. Started getting random "Pre-Collision not available" warnings . Going into the settings, Pre-Collision and Cruise Control options are greyed out and can't be changed. Both Acc and conventional cruise control don't work .

Now a few weeks later, get the warning with every start . Acc nor conventional Cc not avail .

Dealer says they need to replace the cruise control module....but bad news....1 month back order on the part.

Amazing truck, but I'm f*#&ING pissed that a 90k truck has no cruise control .

Anyone else have this glitch?

You didn't happen to put your license plate over the plastic part of the driver's side bumper? That's where the radar is. I will get failure alerts driving in snow when that part of the bumper gets frosted over.

I had that same thing happen on my 2018. Just had to adjust and calibrate the sensor. However mine has started doing this again. I keep getting a message saying sensor blocked. Might be just the sensor and not the cruise control module like they are telling you.

Thanks for the replies. The licence plate is mounted in the factory location, in the centre. I've also got a different message in heavy snow, indicating that "sensor blocked, xx not available" .

This msg is different in that there is no mention of a blocked sensor.

My Ford app also posts the warning and advises to bring it into a dealer.

I've also gone into the vehicle setting to switch the truck into conventional cruise control. However despite this setting, cruise still does not work which leads me to believe it is in fact the module as suggested by the dealer.

I have a 2018 and after I installed a cut frame bumper and relocated my sensor i had the same issues. I tried taking it to the dealership but they wouldn't touch it since I installed a new bumper. Ultimately I had to use Forscan and recalibrate the ACC and after it completed I had to shut the collision alarm off so that I could at least use the regular cruise control. You, having a new truck and none of these mods should NOT be having these issues on a new truck!

what was the outcome of this ,mine is doing the same thing ,pre collision not available ,cruise control is also greyed out , I checked the radar sensor on the front bumper ,its clean , and the plug is in for it . I suspect it is a bad radar sensor . but the op said they replaced the cruise control module ,where is that located , or is it the same part? I think the full name is adaptive cruise control module ,but some ford websites call it speed sensor , front radar , so maybe its all the same part.
