Hey everyone,

Hoping to be quickly pointed in the right direction here. I've searched this and have found some relocation kits but I am looking for a common consensus on what to use / how to relocate the fuse.

I just picked up a 2014 Screw and have a few days off of work coming up, so I'd like to get this done to avoid being stranded somewhere. If anyone can point me in the right direction I'd really appreciate it!

Welcome from the Az Desert and enjoy your truck.

I havent installed the relocation kit in my 2911 yet. But mine started acting up a while back with longer crank times. I changed fuse 27 with a different fuse and it solved the problem. I will still put in the kit, but as soon as yours starts acting up with longer or extended cranking, CHANGE THAT FUSE. I did install a mini fuse instead of the micro fuse and havent had a problem since (no guarantees). The mini fuses stick up higher, but have thicker metal tabs which will make better contact and at the very least will get you out of a bind.

2911? I need pics, how's the hover mode when off-roading? JK, glad to see somebody else with fat figers and old eyes!

Ha Ha. Raptor of the future, .... and still no V8. It has an Eco-Turbine 3.5.

Ya, I've been known to have fat figers too, and need me glasses more than ever these days.

As TJ says, order from Tasca. Install is fairly straight forward -- we did two last weekend. First one took 30 minutes and second one 15. Check YouTube for video, some helpful tips the instructions don't include.

I need to add this as well. My truck did the shut off while driving issue a week or so ago. Fuse looked fine and not other issues but don't want to have that issue again.

Order the kit, numerous sources online including amazon, I got mine here (the terminal is somewhat specific, has a notch to engage a clip in the Power Distribution Box that a regular spade terminal lacks):

Read some tips in this (lengthy and growing) thread:
http://www.fordraptorforum.com/f39/ford-raptor-fuel-pump-fuse-issue-45129/

Enjoy that '14 and some peace of mind that the fuse won't be an issue :party36:
