Full Race's "Gen 2.5" Raptor build

The b&m 8.8 is quite deep. It’s was originally designed for the rear diffs. I tried to fit the ford performance on an 2006 f150 Harley edition but didn’t have the clearance with the steering rack… and there was more room than the raptor. I have the Spicer on the ‘17 raptor and modified the stock cover with a drain plug on my ‘14.
B&m 9.75 is money, have that on both trucks but might not play well with a 37” under the bed

Thanks for the input! with the Gen 3 rear suspension it’s the panhard bar that would hit the diff as opposed to the 37” spare tire. Worst case Ill grind, weld, or scrap if it gets to that point

The new 2023+ navigator/expedition/platinum f150 have no IWE. It appears they use a traditional FWD style hub and axle splined interface.



The OD is now smooth and absent of the splines for the IWE. Instead the ID is now splined



Now THAT is an iwe delete. Unfortunately I expect the bolt pattern will not work for my Gen 3 uprights.
