Full Race CAI problems

Installed a full race CAI about 6 months ago on my 2017 gen 2 raptor. Haven’t had a problem up until this past month and the engine light has gone on twice and Ford pass app is saying crank case hose. Dealer said it needs a tune to prevent this. Hasn’t been a problem up until this last month wondering if anyone has had this problem or have the same CAI.

Scope out this vent tube insert. It resolved the same issue I was having on my 2020 Raptor.

Awesome thank you! Way cheaper fix then getting a tune. Hopefully it works for mine as well. Was yours showing the same crank case problem?

Yes. Had notifications in FordPass as well as CEL on several occasions. I’ve got a Roush CAI. Installed the vent tube insert per the accompanying instructions in the crankcase tube roughly 7K miles ago and no issues since.
